As a student navigating life in a foreign country, the sudden loss of my younger sister left me in a state of shock and uncertainty. I was at a loss for how to proceed, especially considering the distance separating me from my family in Kenya.
However, in my moment of need, the Kijiji community rallied around me in a way that I could never have imagined. Your compassion, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand made an indelible impact on me and my family.
Not only did Kijiji assist me in securing a ticket and providing much-needed spending money to travel to Kenya for my sister's funeral, but countless members of the community reached out with messages of support and comfort. It truly felt like I was being embraced by the very essence of a village, despite being thousands of miles away from home.
